Bo serves as the President of South Georgia Rails to Trails. Bo succeeded Greg McCormack, a founding member of SGRT, as the non-profit’s President in 2009.  Bo is the owner and President of Artesian Financial Group, Inc., an Albany financial services firm. Bo is a 1980 graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Prior to college, Bo graduated from Deerfield High School. Bo’s family moved to Albany in 1966. Bo is married to Pamela Speir Johnson who is a media specialist at Lee County Middle School-East.

Over the years, Bo has observed the many positive impacts that recreational trails have made in communities across Georgia and our nation. His love for his home town has been the motivation behind his desire to see a vibrant trail system built in Albany.
